"Knowing" With Nicolas Cage

Knowing is an upcoming 2009 science fiction film directed by Alex Proyas and starring Nicolas Cage. The project was originally attached to a number of directors under Columbia Pictures, but it was placed in turnaround and eventually picked up by Escape Artists. Production was financially backed by Summit Entertainment, which will also distribute the film. Knowing was filmed in Melbourne, Australia, using various locations to represent the film's setting, Boston. The film is scheduled to be released on March 20, 2009.

Backstory... Cage’s son finds a piece of paper in a time capsule with lots of numbers on it. But these aren’t your average numbers. These numbers relate to every global disaster over the last 50 years.

Anyway, despite the storyline, it does have some good bits in the trailer, including a nice shot of a derailed subway ploughing through some passengers. The trailer does give away some vital plot details... have a look

'Late Night with Jimmy Fallon' & Cameron Diaz have some fun!

Last night I finally got to see Jimmy Fallon in action... guest star Tina Fey looked awesome. Jimmy Fallon's second night featured an opening monologue so half-hearted (cold-weather/economy topical joke: "It's brutal out there; the Dow is 30 below zero"), it looked as though Fallon couldn't wait to bring out his special guest, his former Saturday Night Live "Weekend Update" co-anchor, Tina Fey. Fey was, as always, enthusiastic, smart, and funny. (source)

Apparently Monday launch drew a 33% increase in major cities for th versus the typical Monday "Late Night" and with follow-up stars like Cameron Diaz who looked just beautiful leaving her NYC apartment to head over to the tapping apparently entertained in style..

Cameron Diaz proved that, at 36, she still has the moves as she launched into a burlesque dance on U.S. television last night. The actress agreed to take part in a dance-off during an appearance on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon and her efforts certainly impressed the studio audience who cheered wildly.

Diaz and host Fallon took it in turns to out-do each other in the dancing stakes as they cavorted around to a funky melody and drum beat played by the show's band.

Earlier yesterday the actress, who is dating British model Paul Sculfor, was seen out and about in New York as she made her way to the NBC studios in Manhattan. Now that is a cute couple...
