US President-elect Barack Obama drops his Blackberry as he steps out of his limousine to board a flight for Ohio January 16, 2009 at Reagan National Airport in Washington, DC. Obama is heading to Bedford, Ohio where he was due to visit the Cardinal Fastener & Specialty Company and meet with workers. The company manufactures parts used to construct wind turbines.
A Secret Service agent hustled to pick it up. Secret Service officials are among those urging Obama to give up his Blackberry habit, because it causes security worries. Lawyers think it also poses difficulties in keeping public records.
